Terms and Conditions
RESERVATION HOLD PAYMENTS FOR RENTALS: A Reservation Hold Payment of $350 is required to confirm your reservation if the reservation is made 30 or more days in advance. If a reservation is made 14 days or less before arrival, the entire amount of the reservation (including damage waiver, cleaning & resort fees) is due at the time the reservation is made. Reservations can be confirmed by MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover. PERSONAL CHECKS AND CASH ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
RENTAL PAYMENTS: All rentals must be paid in full no less than 14 days prior to check-in. Short notice reservations made 14 days or less before arrival must be paid in full at the time the reservation is made. Please make payment in the form of Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Personal checks and cash are not accepted. If a reservation is made less than 30 days prior to arrival, full payment is due when making the reservation (including the damage waiver, cleaning and resort fees).
DAMAGE WAIVER: A damage waiver of $89 is REQUIRED at the time the reservation is made and is in addition to the total amount of the reservation. The waiver fee is non-refundable and covers up to $250.00 in damage. Anything above this amount the guest is responsible for the additional cost. You agree that your credit card will be charged for the damage above and beyond.
Malicious or retaliatory damages will be reported into local authorities and charges will be filed.
TAXES: ALL rentals of less than 6 months (181 nights) are subject to sales and bed taxes.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED UNUSED NIGHTS, FOR EARLY CHECKOUTS OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON INCLUDING INCLEMENT WEATHER.
HURRICANE POLICY: Refunds for unused days will only be issued in the event of MANDATORY evacuation. Cleaning fees, bed taxes and sales taxes are not refunded once a unit is occupied. If a mandatory evacuation is ordered within 72 hrs of your check-in date, a full, 100% refund will be made. No refunds will be given for any reason for nights evacuated on MONTHLY reservations.
RESORT FEE: A Resort Fee of $140 will be charged per stay. Includes use of all property amenities and 1 parking pass. Additional parking passes will be charged at $30 per car and collected at check-in. Arcade games and vending machines are a separate guest expense and not included in the resort fee.
CLEANING FEES: IF UPON ARRIVAL you have ANY HOUSEKEEPING PROBLEMS with your assigned unit, you must report the issue(s) to the Rental Manager IMMEDIATELY to rectify the problem. NO DISCOUNTS WILL BE GIVEN DUE TO HOUSEKEEPING ISSUES. A one-time, end-of-stay cleaning fee plus sales tax will be charged in addition to the rental fees at time of check-in. Fees are $185 for a 2-bedroom, $210 for a 3-bedroom, and $235 for a 4 bedroom. Local sales tax is charged for all cleaning services.
RESTRICTIONS: Occupancy is restricted to the maximum number of guests in a rental unit is defined by the number and types of beds in a unit. Example, if a unit states it sleeps 8 people, there must be legitimate bed space for 8 people. Sleeping additional people on the floor or on the “couch” is not allowed or considered legitimate bed space. Infants or toddlers up to 24 months old sleeping in a guest or unit provided porta-crib are the only exception. If a maximum occupancy is exceeded and the Rental Office is aware, you will be required to check-out immediately and your credit card will be charged: $100 per person/night for the entire reservation including days forfeited.
The Princess Condo Rental units are to be used for residential purposes only. No weddings, banquets or commercial activities are permitted without the prior written approval of Princess Condo Rentals, Inc. Any unauthorized use, illegal activity or disturbance of the peace will result in eviction and forfeiture of all rents and deposits. Guests violating this policy will be asked to vacate immediately.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Check-in time begins at 4pm, daily. In some instances, early access to the assigned unit may be granted ONLY IF the cleaning and maintenance tasks have been completed. THERE ARE NO DISCOUNTS FOR LATE CHECK-IN TIMES. The morning after arrival guests will need to formally check-in with the Rental Manager to show ID and obtain parking pass(es).
Check-out is before 10am on your scheduled day of departure.
PETS: Guest are NOT allowed to have pets in any rental or on Princess premises at any time. If a pet is found in a unit, you will be charged all cleaning fees that cover carpet and upholstery cleaning, flea spray, damages, loss of deposit and immediate eviction and no refund for unused nights.
INITIAL SET-UP: We provide complimentary – one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a hotel sized bar of hand soap in each bathroom, one trash bag per garbage can and a packet of dishwasher detergent. Subsequent items are the guest’s responsibility. Bath towels and bed linens are provided with your rental. Please supply your own beach/pool towels. Some units may carry these or additional items as a courtesy. If you use the owner’s beach/pools towels you are responsible to wash, dry and put them back.
REQUIREMENTS: Since our property caters to families, we cannot accept reservations for vacationing students. Anyone under the age of 25, unaccompanied by a parent, will not be permitted to register and will be subject to forfeiture of deposit. IT IS OUR POLICY that every 3 people under the age of 25 in the party there must be at least one person 26 YEARS OR OLDER present during the entire reservation. Should an accompanying parent not remain with guests under the age of 25 during the entire reservation period, eviction and forfeiture of rents and deposits paid will occur. Any reservations obtained under false pretenses will be subject to forfeiture of all deposits and renal fees paid and the party will not be permitted to register.
COMPLIANCE WITH PRINCESS CONDO RENTAL RULES: If you are evicted from a unit which you are renting for failure to abide by the rules/expectations or for any other reason, you will not be entitled to a refund of the rents paid in advance or the deposit. You will also be responsible for damages to the unit or condominium property caused by you or your guests. In the event the cost to repair any damage to the condo unit, property amenities and its contents exceeds the amount of your deposit, you hereby authorize Princess Condo Rentals, Inc., to charge your credit card account for any excess, you agree to pay such charges in full. A full list of guest rules and expectations will be provided to you at check-in and in your pre-arrival guest packet. Malicious or retaliatory behavior and any subsequent damages will be reported to the local authorities.
PROPERTY DAMAGE AND THEFT: We assume no responsibility for any loss or theft of guest’s personal property or items left behind in units. Princess Condo Rentals, Inc., assumes no liability for theft or damage to guest vehicles, boats, motorcycles or any other items left in or on them. If you leave items behind when checking out, we will take commercially reasonably efforts to ship them to you at your expense.
GUEST SAFETY: THERE ARE NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY EITHER ON THE BEACH OR IN THE SWIMMING POOL AREAS. GUESTS MUST FOLLOW ALL BEACH WARNING FLAGS POSTED BY BAY COUNTY. Guests will swim in pools and/or in the ocean at their own risk. Our pool rules forbid glass containers or any kind, diving, jumping or horseplay in or around the pools. Floaties are not allowed except those made for babies or young toddlers. Swim diapers must be worn by all non-potty-trained children. Children who cannot swim should wear a Coast Guard approved life jacket. Children must be always accompanied by a responsible adult while in our pools and on the beach. DO NOT THROW ANYTHING OFF THE BALCONIES. NO LP GAS EQUIPMENT ALLOWED ON BALCONIES – FFPC 110-10-6 LAW, UP TO A $10,000 FINE IF CAUGHT.
SMOKING POLICY: We are a smoke-free property EXCEPT in designated areas only that are clearly marked as “smoking areas.” Guests may not smoke at or around the pools. Each unit is also non-smoking, including the balcony. We consider smoking to include all forms of cigarettes, cigars, pipes, vapes, marijuana, illegal drugs. There is a $300 minimum cleaning fee if you smoke in your selected unit. Guests will be evicted if caught and forfeit any remaining rent previously paid. You hereby authorize Princess Condo Rentals, Inc., to charge such amounts on your credit card and you agree to pay all such charges.
BEACH RULES: Guests are allowed to temporarily set up on the beach their own chairs, umbrellas/canopies/tents. Umbrellas/canopies/tents need to be set up either side of the beach rental chair rows but NOT between our front row of rental chairs and the Gulf. Alternatively, umbrellas/canopies/tents can be set up between the sand dune and our rental beach chairs. Bay County regulations (Leave No Trace) state that you must remove umbrellas/canopies/tents from the beach at dusk each night and upon your departure. Glass of any kind is prohibited by local law on the beach. Any items left on the beach after dusk are subject to removal and disposal. Plastic beach toys and beach floats are a hazard and even deadly to sea/wildlife. Please don’t leave these items behind when you leave or pack up for the day. Princess Condo Rentals, Inc., will not be held responsible for loss, damage or destruction to any items left on the beach. Drinking alcohol on the beach is prohibited by local law during the month of March.
INTERNET USAGE AGREEMENT: Each unit is equipped with free wireless internet access and in various locations on the premises. This is an unsecured network. By logging into our system, you agree that you understand this and agree to use it at your own risk. Princess Condo Rentals, Inc., Princess Owner’s Association, its owners, directors, and employees make no representation and warranties whatsoever about the speed, reliability, security or any other aspect of this system. The Princess will cooperate with all authorities in any investigation inquiry that may make in connection with using our system for illegal purposes. You expressly agree to hold the Princess, its owners, directors and employees harmless and you agree to indemnity them for any costs, damages arising from the use of this system.
CHECK OUT PROCEDURES: Please load and start the dishwasher, empty the refrigerator, and dispose of all trash is the trash chute on each floor situated near the east stairwell. Before you leave, please see the Rental Manager. If you plan to leave before business hours, please leave your departure forms in the drop box outside the office door or plan to leave them with the office sometime before you leave.
Parking: $30 for 2 parking passes for a 2/3 bedroom unit and $30 for 3 parking passes for a 4 bedroom unit. Additional passes are $30 each
